VEBH Architects is pleased to announce that Thomas C. Stanko, AIA, ACHA and John C. Reid, RA have been promoted to Senior Associates in the firm and that Jacklyn M. Dunn, RA has been promoted to an Associate in the firm. Mr. Stanko, Mr. Reid, and Ms. Dunn have made significant contributions to the creative and professional goals of the firm’s clients and they will each have enhanced responsibilities adding to the leadership of the firm.
Thomas Stanko has been with VEBH for 22 years as an architect and project manager. He is a healthcare design specialist and is a certified by the American College of Healthcare Architects. He has been very effective designing the integration of modern medical technology and equipment into patient-friendly and efficient environments. Most recently, Mr. Stanko has designed successful expansion and renovation projects for Monongahela Valley Hospital, Heritage Valley Sewickley and the Children’s Home and Lemieux Family Center.
Mr. Stanko is a graduate of Kent State University and a native of Steubenville, Ohio. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
As a project manager and architect, John Reid has designed multiple projects for Waynesburg University, including four new buildings on the campus over the past 15 years. He has been an Architect with VEBH for 23 years. Mr. Reid contributes to a wide range of educational, healthcare, and municipal design projects at the firm, adding a keen eye for detail and quality control. In addition to the work at Waynesburg University, Mr. Reid was an important member of the design team for the Hampton Township Community Center.
Mr. Reid graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Architecture. He also holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the Keystone Chapter of APPA whose membership includes physical plant administrators for higher education campuses in and near Pennsylvania.
Jacklyn Dunn joined VEBH in 2002 and has has made valuable creative contributions to numerous design projects Ms. Dunn is currently leading the design team for the construction of a new Elementary School for the Freedom Area School District. She has also contributed to the design effort for major improvements for multiple local school districts. Additionally she has had important roles in the design of numerous healthcare projects, including a major expansion to Washington Health System’s Washington Hospital, as well as several renovation projects at the facility.
Ms. Dunn earned her degree in Architecture from the Pennsylvania State University. She is a native of Mt. Lebanon and has served on the municipality’s Planning Board.
