John Reid & Cassandra Renninger Promoted to Principal

VEBH Architects is pleased to announce the promotion of John C. Reid, RA and Cassandra R. Renninger, RA to Principals in the firm. Over the past several years, Mr. Reid and Ms. Renninger have held key leadership roles in the firm, managing both client accounts and design projects.

John Reid has been with VEBH for 23 years, serving as both a project manager and architect. He has worked vastly with Waynesburg University over the past 15 years on multiple projects, including four new buildings and the highly detailed renovation of Stewart Hall, the University’s primary science facility.

Mr. Reid contributes to a wide range of educational, healthcare, and municipal design projects at the firm, adding a careful eye for detail and quality control. He graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Architecture, and also holds a  degree in Architectural Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of KAPPA, the Keystone Chapter of APPA.

Cassandra Renninger joined VEBH in 2016, and has more than 20 years of educational design and construction experience, culminating with some of the finest learning environments in our region. As lead designer and project manager, she has specialized in creating 21st century learning environments that facilitate collaboration and support, and inspire innovation and real-world problem solving.

Ms. Renninger holds a ­­degree in Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University. Her portfolio of design includes roughly $200 million in various public construction projects that serve as quality community assets. Her extensive project experience includes a wide range of municipal, educational, performance, and athletic facilities.
