The formal design of an expansion of the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has begun.  A two story addition will provide a new community room, computer resource room, and improve the children’s area.  The addition will create a new ADA compliant, accessible entrance.  The project is being managed by Steubenville native Thomas Stanko, AIA, ACHA.

VEBH has previously assisted the Library with a master planning effort and with the design for the replacement of the historic building’s windows and site improvements.

The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County is one of the area’s original “Carnegie” libraries.  It opened in 1902.
